Ogletree Governmental Affairs, Inc. (OGA), a subsidiary of Ogletree Deakins, is a full service legislative and regulatory affairs consulting firm, dedicated to helping clients solve their problems with the public sector. OGA unites the skills and experience of government relations professionals with the talent of the Firm's lawyers to provide solutions outside the courtroom to regulatory issues.

OGA's services include:

• Direct advocacy of client interests before Congress and federal agencies by OGA's principals;
• Organizing and coordinating grassroots, coalition, and media campaigns to advance client interests;
• Guidance on navigating agency rule making, standard setting, permitting, or product approval processes;
• Drafting legislation, amendments, Congressional testimony, and regulatory comments to achieve client goals;
• Arranging client meetings with key Congressional or agency officials so that client concerns can be expressed face-to-face;
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the ever-changing legislative and regulatory environment so clients will have the information they need in order to best utilize their scarce resources.
• Coordinating multi-disciplinary crisis management services and counseling during union corporate campaigns, class action lawsuits, and complex regulatory actions.

OGA's clients include large and small businesses, trade and professional associations, state and local government organizations, and coalitions of private as well as public sector interests. OGA has a particular expertise in representing business interests in the areas of labor and employment, occupational, environmental and product safety laws and regulations, and small business issues.

OGA's principals become part of our clients' problem-solving team working with their existing Washington corporate offices and trade associations, or serving as the clients' Washington representative.
