About this office:
Established in 1999, Oostvogels Pfister Feyten represents one of Luxembourg's largest independent business law firms.
Specialising in all areas of financial and business law, the firm advises a strong international client base of multi-national corporate groups, leading banking and finance institutions, private equity houses and investment funds as well as high net worth individuals.
The firm provides legal and tax advice on most diverse and complex structures and has a strong track record in alternative and innovative structuring. This applies to all departments and in particular, to the corporate, tax, fund, finance and real estate departments. Oostvogels Pfister Feyten has a wealth of experience with popular investment vehicles (both regulated and unregulated) such as the SICAR, the specialised investment fund (SIF) and securitisations. Teams also assist with debt and equity restructuring proceedings as well as the reorganisation of groups facing financial difficulties, including structuration through distressed debt funds. Where necessary, each team draws upon the skills of other departments to offer a comprehensive service to clients' projects.
The firm has extensive experience in complex international transactions and is regularly advising buyers and sellers, target companies and investment banks and private equity houses on a wide range of domestic and cross-border activities. Over the last decade, the firm has been involved in many landmark acquisitions throughout Europe and Asia.
To consolidate its alliance with the UK market, the firm opened a London office in 2005 making it the first Luxembourg-based legal house to have a UK operation. This office offers the UK financial and business community direct access an in-depth knowledge of Luxembourg's laws and practices. The London office was further enhanced in 2008 with the creation of dedicated Luxembourg tax and investment funds capabilities.
Oostvogels Pfister Feyten also has a strong network across key financial centers around the world and has an extensive track record in teaming up with international law firms on cross border transactions. To date, the firm's growth has been 100% organic and Oostvogels Pfister Feyten has remained fully independent throughout its history.
