The firm was established on July 4, 1994 by Koshi Yamaguchi after eight years as managing partner for international matters at one of the largest law firms in Osaka. His Harvard LL.M. and American attorney S. McIntire Allen's law study in Japan offer a cross-legal expertise unique in Osaka. This combination has proved conducive to clarity and effectiveness in coordinating with counsel from both common-law and civil law jurisdictions. Clients consist of Japanese companies and individuals active throughout the world, and foreign companies and individuals with interests in Japan.
