Woodward, Hobson & Fulton, L.L.P. was founded in 1917 by Ernest Woodward, Sr. after a year's service as General Attorney for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company. Members of the firm over its long history have become judges of the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and one had been Chief Justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals (now the Kentucky Supreme Court) before joining the firm. The firm has been well known for many years for its extensive involvement and experience in all areas of civil litigation, representing numerous companies and insurance carriers in tort, product liability, medical and other professional malpractice, and corporate and commercial litigation. With offices in Louisville and Lexington the firm serves the entire State of Kentucky.
