Pablo Guzman is a partner in the Montréal office of Davis LLP. Mr. Guzman is a litigator and practices in the areas of commercial law, employment and labour law, franchise and distribution law and the enforcement of creditors' rights. He routinely counsels clients in the drafting, review, management and enforcement of contracts and security instruments in his areas of practice. Mr. Guzman often provides counsel on business-related legislation, including Québec's Consumer Protection Act, the Charter of the French Language, the Civil Code of Québec and privacy legislation, as well as complex litigation issues. He has appeared before the Québec, Superior and Appeal Courts and provincial, federal and international administrative and arbitration tribunals. Mr. Guzman was born in El Salvador, Central America and moved to Canada in 1976. He obtained a B.A. in Political Science at Université du Québec à Montréal in 1989, specializing in international relations. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Montréal in 1992.
