Biography

Pamela Landman practices in the Health Care/Not-For-Profit Group. Pamela's practice focuses on corporate governance, transactional, employment and compliance matters involving charitable, religious, educational, and health care organizations. She has considerable experience representing health care and not-for-profit organizations in diverse matters.

Pamela's practice includes the structuring and negotiating of sophisticated transactions for health care providers and tax-exempt entities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, development projects, and asset purchases and sales. In connection with these transactions, Pamela has participated in and supervised due diligence initiatives, drafted restructuring and financing agreements, obtained the approvals of the requisite licensing authorities, and effected transfers of ownership.

A significant part of Pamela's practice consists of drafting agreements involving a variety of matters (including professional and administrative services, marketing and consulting services, software licensing, and the leasing of office space and equipment) and employment-related materials (including employment applications, employee manuals, employee policies, employee health plans, and employment contracts and severance agreements).

Pamela has counseled clients in connection with the development and implementation of compliance programs. She has also assisted in the evaluation of the existence and scope of alleged improprieties, and the development of strategies for responding to such allegations.

Nightingale's Healthcare News named Pamela on its 2007 list of “Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyers.” She was also named to the 2014 New York Metro edition of Super Lawyers.

She received her J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was Comment Editor for the Comparative Labor Law Journal. Pamela graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan (Honors Program).
