Tricia focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling management clients on a variety of employment-related issues, including federal and state discrimination laws; wage and hour compliance; employment policies and handbooks; employment agreements; restructuring severance programs and policies; confidentiality, assignment of inventions and non-competition agreements; trade secrets; sexual harassment; disability discrimination claims; workplace violence; and drug and alcohol screening.
She has successfully litigated cases in federal and state courts involving alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge. She counsels clients regarding a wide variety of employment matters, including issues arising under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
Tricia prepares non-compete, confidentiality, independent contractor and employment agreements and assists clients in conducting effective workplace investigations regarding employee misconduct and inappropriate behavior.
She has been recognized by the Volunteer Lawyer's Program for her pro bono work.
