A Baton Rouge native, Patrick Broyles represents people and businesses in complex and commercial civil litigation, securities fraud, as well as major personal injury cases, such as aviation accidents, medical devices, products liability, and catastrophic auto accidents. Mr. Broyles also represents individuals and companies seeking independent legal advice on risk assessment, risk avoidance and a host of other matters where the potential for litigation exists.
Mr. Broyles graduated second in his class from the Louisiana State University Law Center in 2004 obtaining two degrees: a J.D. and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Law. He was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society and also served as a Member of the Louisiana Law Review. His article, "Intercontinental Identity: The Right to the Identity in the Louisiana Civil Code," was published in Volume 65 of the Louisiana Law Review and is currently being translated into Chinese for inclusion in a legal text on comparative law. Prior to law school, Mr. Broyles attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in English.
Mr. Broyles is admitted in all Louisiana state and federal courts and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Louisiana Association for Justice. He teaches continuing legal education courses to other attorneys and also has volunteered his time for local organizations and charitable causes, such as Share Our Strength, a non-profit charity dedicated to providing food and nourishment to children across the country and around the world.
Mr. Broyles has proven himself as a litigator in complex, multi-party cases against the insurance, banking, aviation, and medical device industries, as well as cases involving serious personal injuries. He has secured numerous victories at the pre-trial, trial and appellate level - with remarkable results.
