| Biography | Paul Trinkoff brings a multi-disciplinary approach to his practice of representing business entrepreneurs and non-publicly held business entities. His clients include real estate developers and property managers, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, service professionals, technology-based businesses, motor vehicle dealers and retailers. Mr. Trinkoff has extensive experience in forming and structuring new businesses, business reorganizations, asset and stock transactions and business combinations, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, real estate leasing, employment and compensation arrangements, distribution and sales arrangements, intellectual property development and licensing and finance transactions. In addition to his corporate practice, Mr. Trinkoff represents commercial lenders and credit divisions of manufacturers in loan transactions and in creditor rights and bankruptcy enforcement matters. Finally, Mr. Trinkoff counsels both buyers and sellers of "distressed" assets, both prior to and through the bankruptcy process. Mr. Trinkoff has been a lecturer and panelist on small business, bankruptcy and employment programs. For a significant part of his career, Mr. Trinkoff was actively engaged in a broad range of commercial and construction litigation matters. He currently continues to represent business clients and lenders in various litigation matters, much of which is before the United States Bankruptcy Court. In representing clients in business transactions, Mr. Trinkoff strives to be mindful of the potential litigation implications of the transaction at hand. As such, he continues to draw heavily upon his litigation experience while engaged in transactional matters. Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Mr. Trinkoff was an associate and then a partner in the Baltimore law firm of Tydings and Rosenberg, LLP, from 1981 through 2001.
