Paul Shur has more than 30 years of experience in commercial transactions, financial transactions, loan workouts and restructures. Mr. Shur has handled numerous matters in the following areas:
· sales and lease transactions
· secured transactions
· asset based financing
· real estate financing
· real estate title defense and litigation
· creditors' rights litigation
· commercial and corporate finance
Mr. Shur is recognized by Chambers USA as a leader in corporate and M&A law.
He frequently lectures and speaks at various bar associations and trade groups. Mr. Shur has also authored numerous articles on the Uniform Commercial Code and commercial finance in various publications, including New York Law Journal, New Jersey Lawyer, ABF Journal, The Banking Law Journal and Uniform Commercial Code Law Journal.
Mr. Shur has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Community Service & Affiliations
Mr. Shur serves on the board of the New York Institute of Credit, and the executive board of the New Jersey Chapter of Turnaround Management, and previously served on the board of the Banking Law Section of New Jersey State Bar Association of which he is a former chair.
Mr. Shur received the Distinguished Legislative Service Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as the Special Achievement Award from the Association's Banking Law Section.
