In more than 50 years of practice, Mr. Jaffe has earned a distinguished reputation as a leading corporate and real estate lawyer in the mid-Atlantic region. With his counsel, many of his clients have contributed to the recent renaissance of Philadelphia through their acquisition and development of major commercial properties. Areas Of Experience UNILAW One of Mr. Jaffe's major accomplishments includes the formation of UNILAW, a national network of major regional law firms created to provide clients with quality legal services and resources throughout the United States. As a result of his visionary leadership and track record, he is regarded as an expert on law firm management issues, including growth strategies, marketing and partnership disputes. Additional Background In 1996, he accepted an appointment to serve on the Common Pleas Court of Philadelphia. During his brief tenure on the court, Mr. Jaffe presided over a variety of civil and criminal cases. Mr. Jaffe became of "Of Counsel" to the firm after his retirement from the bench in 1998. Mesirov Gelman Jaffe Cramer & Jamieson Mr. Jaffe co-founded the former Philadelphia-based law firm of Mesirov Gelman Jaffe Cramer & Jamieson along with Leon Mesirov in 1959. Starting with two attorneys, the firm had more than 80 attorneys with an office in Cherry Hill, NJ, as well as in Philadelphia.
