Paul S. Cantor

Mr. Cantor has been in practice since 1980 and has been engaged almost exclusively in litigation of personal injury and commercial matters, both on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants, since 1986. In the 1980's he was Managing Trial Attorney of the Boston Staff Counsel Office for CNA Insurance Company, where he supervised a staff of 11 trial attorneys and eight support staff, with litigation responsibilities covering seven Massachusetts counties.

Since 1990, Mr. Cantor has primarily represented Plaintiffs in personal injury litigation and general litigation in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has obtained dozens of trial verdicts on behalf of Plaintiffs and has established new and substantial changes in the law through numerous appellate decisions in the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

A growing portion of Mr. Cantor's practice is in arbitration and mediation. He has accepted hundreds of appointments as an arbitrator or mediator, and continues to serve as a court-appointed arbitrator and a mediator for the Superior Court during settlement weeks. He also has lectured on various topics in the personal injury field for commercial seminar sponsors and for the Rhode Island Bar Association.
