Ms. Taylor handles commercial litigation of all kinds, with a focus on ERISA, life, annuity, health, and disability litigation. She primarily represents financial services companies and corporations in individual and class actions involving business and consumer disputes of all kinds. Ms. Taylor routinely tries jury and non-jury cases and argues appeals.
Ms. Taylor coordinated the nationwide sales practices litigation of one of the largest financial services companies. She has managed and negotiated nationwide class action settlements as well as managed, litigated, and coordinated hundreds of individual opt-out cases throughout the country.
Ms. Taylor represented a major financial services company client in a putative class action alleging breach of contract in the sale of life insurance policies issued on the lives of minors. She also has handled other putative and certified class actions involving the alleged improper marketing or sale of life insurances, annuities, child term riders, convalescent care insurance, automotive and maintenance repair services, and breach of fiduciary duty claims under ERISA.
Ms. Taylor has appeared in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and New York. She also has litigated cases in Pennsylvania and in other jurisdictions through pro hac vice appearances.
