History: Peroni Sosa Tellechea Burt & Narvaja was founded in 1968 by Dr. Juan G. Peroni (1909-2001), Dr. Guillermo F. Peroni and Dr. Demetrio Ayala. Its practice grew with a very high international profile, a strong client base and diversified areas of specialization, to become one of the leading firms in Paraguay. Through its members, the firm has been an active participant in legal innovation in Paraguay proposing laws enacted by the Congress, advising the Government on development strategies, and taking an active part in University education. In 1977, Dr. Juan Guillermo Peroni began publishing Revista Juridica Paraguaya La Ley, the most important and successful legal periodical in Paraguay today. PSTBN is the founding member for Paraguay for the leading Club de Abogados and Lex Mundi networks.

Foreign companies and individual investors have used the firm's services to establish subsidiaries or joint ventures in Paraguay, for which purpose PSTBN provides legal advice on incentives, coordination of feasibility studies, contacts with the government, and start-up of operations. Firm Activities: Peroni Sosa Tellechea Burt & Narvaja encourages participation of its members in academic activities and professional organizations. Three partners currently teach courses at the Catholic University. Partners and associates are members of the Colegio de Abogados del Paraguay, International Bar Association, Interamerican Bar Association, American Society of International Law, International Trademark Association, and Asociación Interamericana de Propiedad Industrial. Dr. Guillermo F. Peroni and Dra. Graciela Narvaja Jones are former presidents of the Paraguayan American Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Enrique A. Sosa Elizeche was Supreme Court Justice from 1995 to 2003 and served as President in 1997. Dr. Antonio Tellechea Solis served as President (1997-2007) of The Catholic University of Asunción.
