| Biography | Peter Charles Horstmann is a partner in the law firm of Partridge, Ankner & Horstmann, LLP, where his practice includes criminal defense, civil rights and general litigation including appeals. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School (1990) and has served as the Treasurer of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (MACDL) since 2002. From 1990-1997 he worked for F. Lee Bailey's Boston Office, Bailey, Fishman & Leonard and from 1998 to 2002 was a law partner of Superior Court Justice Kenneth J. Fishman in the law firm of Fishman, Ankner & Horstmann. His bar memberships include the United States Supreme Court, State of New York, District of Columbia, United States District Court for the District of Vermont, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Since 1998, he has served on the District of Massachusetts CJA Panel. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts in Massachusetts and in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Illinois and Indiana.
