Peter N. Wang is managing partner of the New York City office of Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the General Commercial Litigation and Construction Practices, as well as the Insurance Industry and Entertainment & Media Industry Teams. Mr. Wang was a founding partner of Friedman, Wang & Bleiberg, P.C. before the firm joined Foley in July 2004. From 1973 - 1974, Mr. Wang served as a law clerk to the Hon. Milton Pollack, United States District Judge, Southern District of New York. Mr. Wang received his J.D. from Harvard University (cum laude, 1973) and his B.A. from Yale University (magna cum laude, 1970). Mr. Wang is admitted to the New York Bar; U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of New York; U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, Third Circuit, Fourth Circuit, Fifth Circuit, Seventh Circuit, Tenth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; Federal Bar Council; and in 2002 was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an organization limited to the 500 leading trial advocates in the world. Mr. Wang was selected for inclusion in the 2006 - 2009 New York Super Lawyers® lists in the area of business litigation. The "super lawyer" designation represents the top five percent of Manhattan attorneys in more than 60 areas of practice. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law.
