Managing complex commercial litigation matters across the country, Phil provides consistency in case strategies to obtain the most favorable, cost-effective results for his clients. He has represented several Fortune 500 companies nationwide and has received numerous top 10 defense verdicts in Missouri.
As a member of the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation team, Phil has:
•Advised a meat-production company on compliance with government work-safety regulations.
Counseled a foreign manufacturer of farm machinery on product liability issues.
Represented an industrial supply company on product distribution matters.
In his product liability practice, Phil defends manufacturers against allegations of economic loss and personal injury claims involving various products, including appliance components, construction and farm equipment, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He has defended warranty claims in numerous product liability cases with favorable results. Phil also represents healthcare clients in a broad range of litigation matters and has represented clients in medical and legal malpractice allegations.
Phil frequently speaks at seminars before lawyers and other professionals concerning trial strategies and techniques.
