| Biography | Professional Summary Phillip Kossy's practice includes areas such as discrimination and harassment litigation, wage and hour litigation (individual and class action), counseling, wrongful termination litigation, recent legislative developments, sexual harassment issues and violence in the workplace. Mr. Kossy has extensive civil litigation experience in California and United States courts, including employment and personnel, civil rights and tort liability matters for private and public sector employers. He has lectured on a variety of labor and employment law issues, including recent legislative developments, wage and hour law, leaves, discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement Mr. Kossy earned his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California Los Angeles in 1973. In 1976, he earned his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Labor and Employment Section of the San Diego County Bar Association. Mr. Kossy was recognized by Best Lawyers in America in 2011 and 2012 in the area of Litigation - Labor and Employment.
