About this forum:One of in-house counsel's greatest priorities is increasing the efficiency of relationships between in-house and outside counsel. As the economy remains challenging, in-house counsel exerts considerable leverage controlling costs, and in many cases, redefines their relationships with outside counsel while directly impacting budgets for outside legal services. In this session, in-house counsel will share their best practices in areas such as:
- Profiling the partnership: What strengthens in-house and outside counsel relationships?
- Alternative fees: What is working well, and what could be working better?
- Using lower-cost alternative legal service providers: Is it worth it?
- Bringing value to the bottom line.
