Qingqing Miao focuses her practice on immigration and business law. Her clients range from individuals to corporations. Qingqing’s clients are often involved in cross-border transactions, particularly transactions involving the U.S. and China. Qingqing assists her clients in navigating the complex U.S. immigration process and provides legal services to help their businesses grow and succeed.
Qingqing has published in both English and Chinese professional and academic journals on topics of international business, immigration law and the law practice. Qingqing also speaks at conferences and seminars on topics of immigration and business law.
Qingqing believes in serving and giving back to the community. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Washington Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Secretary of the Asian Bar Association of Washington. Qingqing has also served on the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Washington State Bar Association since 2011. A native of Chongqing, Qingqing is on the Board of Seattle Chongqing Sister Cities Association.
Prior to joining Ellis, Li & McKinstry PLLC, Qingqing practiced business and immigration law at a boutique business law firm in downtown Seattle. Qingqing also gained extensive immigration law experience at a well-respected immigration law firm in the Seattle area. While at law school, she clerked at the General Counsel’s Office at Bonneville Power Administration (US Department of Energy).
