Rob Plowden advises clients on commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis on data center development, leases and service level agreements; office, industrial and retail development and leasing; and general commercial real estate development. Rob's clients include Fortune 500 corporations and entrepreneurs. The geographic coverage of his engagements includes most of the 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Western Europe and Singapore. His general real estate experience includes joint venture formation, purchase and sales, and development and leasing for office, industrial, retail, multifamily and mixed-use projects.
As leader of Sutherland's data center practice, Rob has more than 15 years of experience helping both developers and end users build, finance, purchase and lease mission-critical data centers and colocation facilities. Rob's data center experience includes negotiating leases, service level agreements, meet me room agreements, facility management agreements, tax incentives, power purchase contracts, indefeasible rights of use (IRU) and fiber optic cable access agreements.
Sutherland represents a governmental agency in negotiating a data center lease and service agreement.
Sutherland represents a Fortune 500 global investment management firm in multiple leasing matters in the United States and abroad.
Sutherland helps T5 Data Centers in joint venture to develop data centers in Atlanta, Dallas and LA.
