Rachel practices in the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group, focusing on Financial Services Litigation. Prior to joining Burr & Forman, she worked as a Judicial Clerk for The Honorable Sharon L. Blackburn, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama.
Rachel received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as a Notes Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. In law school, Rachel participated in Vanderbilt's Appellate Litigation clinic, where her team's work in front of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals won a favorable decision for the clinic's client on his ineffective assistance of counsel claim. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and spent a semester abroad attending Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.
