Biography

Rahim Esmail is an associate in our Business Law and Technology Law Groups in Vancouver. Mr. Esmail is developing a practice focusing on outsourcing, licensing, e-commerce and technology company mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience advising financial institutions with respect to a variety of complex regulatory matters.

Mr. Esmail's recent experience includes:

•acting for an energy utility company in its renegotiation of a major back office services outsourcing agreement
•acting for a crown corporation in its procurement of core system replacement, integration and support services; and
•acting for a manufacturer and distributor of horticultural products in its $50 million acquisition by way of a share sale.

Mr. Esmail received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University and hisJuris Doctorfrom the University of British Columbia. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2011.
