Ramsey & Baxley was founded in 1973 by J. Robert Ramsey, Wade H. Baxley and Joel W. Ramsey. Charles H. McDougle, Jr., became a partner and the firm became Ramsey, Baxley & McDougle in 1985. M. Hampton Baxley became a partner in 2003. Dustin R. Byrd joined the firm as an associate in 2007.
The firm serves the southeast Alabama area and offers a wide range of services. All the partners participate in continuing legal education seminars, professional association activities and civil affairs.
