Randolph (Randy) Mailloux is a 1971 graduate of Belfast Area High School, 1974. Graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, and a 1978 graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. He served as Waldo County Probate Judge from 1997 through 2004. Randy has completed course work at the National Judicial College.
Randy has practiced law in Waldo County for more than 29 years. He also has been actively involved in the First Baptist Church serving as moderator for the last 27 years as well as managing the First Baptist Church of Belfast Memorial and Endowment fund. Randy also has been active in the Boy Scouts of America for most of his life, having obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1967 and has served ten years as troop leader for Belfast Troop 37. Randy has served as Waldo District Chairman and is presently serving as Trustee of a foundation which he co-founded to award scholarships and funds for both Boy and Girl Scout units. Randy is a member of the Belfast Lions Club where he has served as President, Secretary and a Board member. Randy serves on the Waldo County Advisory Committee for the Maine Community Foundation and is on the Board of the Group Home Foundation as well as Wardwell Commons Elderly Housing. Randy has served on the board of Mid-Coast Mental Health and on the board of incorporators of the Waldo County General Hospital. He is now spearheading the formation of a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Waldo County.
Randy has served in leadership roles in numerous professional organizations, serving as President of the Waldo County Bar Association, Chairman of the Maine State Bar Association's Small Firm Task Force, President of the Maine Probate Judge's Assembly, Maine State representative to the National College of Probate Judges. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the American Association of Visually Impaired Attorneys and is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and attends their semi-annual collegia. He is a former member of the Maine Probate Judges Assembly. Randy is a former member of the American Judges Association.
Randy practices law in Belfast with emphasis on estate planning and is an active trial attorney for matters such as Probate, domestic relations and civil litigation. He lives in Belfast with his wife, Toni.
