Ray Chadwick is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group. His practice concentrates on catastrophic injury and products liability matters, as well as representing medical providers and institutions. Mr. Chadwick graduated, cum laude, from Emory University with a B.A. in history. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1972 and went on to spend four years as a Captain in the United States Air Force where he was assigned duties as a military trial counsel. Mr. Chadwick's professional activities include service on the Federal Courts Liaison, Legislation and Multijurisdictional Practice committees of the State Bar of Georgia. He also served on the Court Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Mr. Chadwick has served as President of the Augusta Bar Association and as chairman of a panel appointed by the United States District Court Judges for the Southern District of Georgia assigned responsibility for reviewing candidates for the position of United States Magistrate Judge. He has also been a guest speaker for the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education on the subjects of products liability and medical malpractice law. Mr. Chadwick has been active in leadership positions in numerous civic organizations. He has served as Chairman of the Augusta Port Authority and President of the Greater Augusta Arts Council. He has also served as Treasurer and a member of the Vestry of The Church of the Good Shepherd and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Episcopal Day School. He was a class member of Leadership of Georgia and subsequently selected to be a program chair for Leadership Georgia. Mr. Chadwick has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation since 2005. He has also been recognized as one of Georgia's "Legal Elite" for 2004 by Georgia Trend magazine. Selected Experience · Representation of victims of catastrophic burn injuries.
