Mr. Fehringer has represented a diverse base of clients in connection with commercial transactions. His practice has involved all aspects of finance and real estate law, including commercial lending, municipal finance and the acquisition, disposition and leasing of assets.
Mr. Fehringer's finance experience includes representation of institutional lenders, insurance companies and credit enhancers in taxable and tax-exempt financings, project financings, construction lending, sale/leasebacks and loan restructurings. He has represented lenders and corporate real estate developers in connection with the purchase, sale and financing of numerous real estate projects including office, commercial and industrial buildings, shopping centers, multifamily housing, hospitals, colleges and medical office buildings.

Mr. Fehringer has served as counsel to various entities in public finance debt issues for a wide range of public projects such as airport expansions, sports stadiums, toll roads, college and university facilities, medical office buildings, government office buildings and hospital expansions. He has experience with variable rate demand bonds and auction rate debt, and has represented issuers in connection with tenders and solicitations for offers to sell outstanding municipal bonds in connection with debt restructurings.
Mr. Fehringer's practice involves a variety of real estate transactions serving a broad range of client needs, including taxable and tax-exempt real estate loans, secured lending, real estate financing, sales and acquisitions, sale/leasebacks and commercial leasing. Clients he represents include financial institutions, real estate investors, insurance companies and other entities in transactions throughout the United States.
Mr. Fehringer has represented various institutions in post-closing surveillance and restructuring matters in connection with municipal financings and securitizations. In addition, he has represented credit enhancers, lenders, servicers and agencies of the U.S. government in connection with loan sales, foreclosures, deed-in-lieu agreements, workouts, receiverships and asset dispositions.
