Raymond L. Jackson, Jr.

Raymond began his legal career as a law clerk for Justice J. Gorman Houston on the Supreme Court of Alabama. In September of 1996, Raymond became an associate with the law firm of Capell & Howard, P.C., in Montgomery, Alabama. During his two and one half years at the law firm, Raymond worked primarily in the areas of civil litigation and intellectual property. In February of 1999, Attorney General Bill Pryor appointed Raymond an Assistant Attorney General. During his tenure, Raymond represented the State of Alabama in a number of important and high profile cases including the State's tobacco litigation and franchise tax case. While he worked in the Attorney General office, Raymond orally argued four cases in the Supreme Court of Alabama, one case in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and a number of other cases in state and federal trial courts. In February of 2000, Raymond Jackson began Jackson Law Group, in Auburn, Alabama. On January 1, 2011, Raymond Jackson and Michael Speakman formed Speakman & Jackson, L.L.C., in Auburn, Alabama.
