Rebecca Livingston Lando

Rebecca Livingston Lando focuses primarily on real estate financing, commercial real estate development, and resort and hospitality industry development and operations. She represents a variety of national and regional real estate developers, lenders, retail and hospitality owners and operators, and institutional real estate investors.

Her representations include PNC Bank, National Association, Fontainebleau Resorts, Turnberry Development, the Regional Industrial Development Corporation and a national commercial office REIT.

Rebecca's representation of real estate developers, operators and investors has included a range of land use, construction and operational matters. She represents both landlords and tenants in office and retail leasing. She represents owners in negotiating favorable construction, management and brokerage agreements.

As lender's counsel, Rebecca has led the legal effort in many complex construction and permanent loan structures, including those that involved intercreditor and creditors' rights structuring. She has also represented financial institutions in undertaking loan workouts.

As part of her lending practice, Rebecca has extensive experience in securitized loans, affordable housing and finance structures and other tax credit programs.

In addition, having begun her legal career in the Washington, D.C., area, Rebecca has represented clients in many transactions involving the federal government, both in its regulatory capacity and in GSA contracting and leasing.

Named for the past four years in The Best Lawyers in America, Rebecca was honored in the Real Estate category.

Rebecca is a native of Pittsburgh and is currently on the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania. She provides pro bono legal services to the Pittsburgh Park Conservancy and previously served on the Board of the Junior League of Pittsburgh.
