Reported CasesSignificant Representations; Represented developers of master planned and mixed-use developments, including coordination of consultants and others, in connection with acquisition, entitlement, financing and development matters (including land ownership structures and participation agreements; pre-annexation and development agreements; infrastructure finance strategies and terms including community facilities and other special taxing districts, impact fees and joint development agreements; intergovernmental and other agreements for public infrastructure and services; governance structure and owner associations; sales and leases to commercial, retail, homebuilder, resort and other users; and compliance and relationships with state and local regulatory bodies). Represented planning permittees and prospective purchasers and lessees of state trust land, including negotiating the terms of planning permits, long-term ground leases and infrastructure agreements. Represented developers of urban development and redevelopment projects, including coordination of consultants and others, in connection with acquisition, entitlement, financing and development matters (including development agreements, economic development incentives, infrastructure finance, utility agreements, construction agreements, reciprocal easement and maintenance agreements; governance structure and owners associations; compliance with state and local regulatory bodies; and sales and leases to end users). Represented real estate interests, including industry associations, in connection with legislative initiatives relating to land use, economic development and infrastructure finance, state trust land reform and military airport land-use compatibility.
