Ren's area of expertise is corporate, focused particularly on e-business, a sector which is experiencing rapid growth in Gibraltar. She spearheads the new e-business unit at Hassans.
Ren's work to date has regularly required her to deal with multiple European jurisdictions: as a result of which she has developed a wide base of international knowledge of corporate structures and an excellent network of professional contacts in tax.
Ren was formerly a Solicitor at Bird & Bird in the UK. While at Bird & Bird Ren was voted Chambers & Partners Trainee Solicitor of the Year 2000 for e-commerce. Ren was also Head of Office for Wolf Theiss, Sarajevo, which she established and successfully managed for the firm's Austrian founders.
Ren has an MA (Hons) from Oxford University (Lady Margaret Hall, 1991-1994), and an LL.B from Nottingham University (1994-1997). While at Nottingham University, she was awarded the Times Law Award (first prize).
