Richard C. Green focuses his practice on the representation of natural gas companies before federal energy agencies. He has represented natural gas pipelines before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (and predecessor agencies) for more than 30 years, where he has been lead counsel in numerous litigated rate proceedings as well as a variety of certificate, enforcement and other matters. Rich also has experience assisting clients in connection with liquefied natural gas import projects. In addition, he has appeared on behalf of clients in numerous cases before the United States Court of Appeals, a number of which he has argued. He has also represented clients before the Supreme Court of the United States and in connection with various federal district and state court proceedings. Rich has also represented energy clients in matters before the Department of Energy and has provided counsel in a wide variety of energy transactional and litigation matters.
