Rich is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) the Property Loss Research Bureau (PLRB), is the Louisiana co-chair for the Council on Litigation Management (CLM), the co-chair of the CLM Professional Liability Sub-Committee, and was elected a Super Lawyer for 2012 and 2013.

Rich King, a Director at GJTBS, litigates disputes in all Louisiana and Mississippi courts and is also licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Rich has vast experience in the areas of Professional Liability, Insurance Coverage, Bad-Faith, Property and Construction Law, Employment Law, Entertainment Law, Commercial Litigation while continuing to practice in the areas of Environmental/Toxic Tort liability, Subrogation, Trucking and Transportation and General Casualty defense. With vast experience in Property and Construction Law, Rich also acts as an appraiser and umpire pursuant to the terms of first-party property policies.
