Experience Mr. Robinson is a founding Shareholder of GrayRobinson and specializes in tax, tax-exempt financing, corporate and health law with emphasis on business transactions including mergers and acquisitions of businesses; formation of corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and other business entities; and employment and buy-sell agreements and other business contracts. A significant portion of his practice is representation of a major non-profit national health care provider in connection with its tax-exempt financing. He previously served as general counsel for the Orange County Health Facilities Authority which is a major issuer of tax-exempt financing for non-profit health facilities. He also specializes in wealth transfer planning including general estate planning and business succession planning. He has substantial experience in representing clients engaged in the acquisition or sale of businesses including transactions involving mergers, liquidations and asset transfers. Mr. Robinson also has presented numerous programs on topics of estate planning, qualified retirement plans, individual and corporate taxation, and business transactions sponsored by The Florida Bar, The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CLU Societies and local estate planning councils. Background Mr. Robinson was born in Jacksonville, Florida and attended the University of Florida where he graduated in 1962. After serving two years in the Army, he attended the University of Florida College of Law, receiving his law degree in 1966. Mr. Robinson has been a practicing attorney in Orlando since 1968, specializing in business, tax, tax-exempt financing, health and estate planning law.
