Richard S. Scott (Dick) is highly regarded for his experience in estate planning and administration. A partner and member of the firm's Estates & Trusts Practice Group, Dick merged his well-established estate planning/administration practice with Leech Tishman in 1999, bringing with him more than 35 years of estate-related legal experience.
Dick is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Review Rated Attorney and is featured in the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, and serves on their probate and trust law sections. He is also a member and past board member of the Pittsburgh Estate Planning Council.
A long-standing volunteer with non-profit organizations serving the disabled (ACHIEVA [formerly ARC - Allegheny], ARC-PA, ARC-US and the Easter Seals), Dick is well known in the community for his estate planning work for people with disabilities and their families. He recently played a lead role in creating The Family Trust, a non-profit organization that provides estate planning and fiduciary services to families of people with disabilities.
