•Represent private equity firm in acquiring 6 hospital system
•Represented hospital operator in acquiring a community hospital
•Represented a seller of 9 ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs)
•Represented a group of independent physicians in their sale of a 49% interest in an ASC
•Represent investors in startup medical device companies
•Represent a medical foundation in the acquisition of physician practices

•Represent owners and developers of medical office buildings (MOBs) in developing, acquiring, financing, leasing and selling MOBs
•Represent physicians and hospitals in MOB leasing transactions (as landlord and tenants)
•Represent the operator of 8 Skilled Nursing Facilities, an Assisted Living Facility and a Home Health business in the sale of all facilities and operations to a public company operator

Mr. Needham brings a unique perspective and skill set to representing clients in real estate matters. Respected for his business and deal making skills, Mr. Needham was invited by a client to partner in a healthcare real estate development company in 2004. Mr. Needham accepted and spent 7 years developing outpatient medical buildings for hospitals and physicians. As a healthcare real estate developer, Mr. Needham was responsible for handling all aspects of project development, including feasibility studies, site selection, due diligence, land acquisition, budgeting, financing, project design, entitlement, value engineering, construction, marketing, leasing, tenant relations, property management, and disposition for over 700,000 square feet of commercial buildings.
In his career, Mr. Needham has represented clients in a wide range of transactional real estate matters, including acquisition, entitlement, development, construction financing, permanent financing, joint ventures, leasing, and disposition. He has represented developers, investors, borrowers, lenders, companies, non-profits, cities and redevelopment agencies handling their real estate needs in all product types, including medical office, senior care, multi-family, retail, industrial and professional office.

•Represented clients in the purchase or sale of over $400 Million of multi-family apartment projects in the last 3 years
•Representing client in the acquisition of $4 Billion of non-performing loan pools
