 | Robert A. BarrerPartner Robert Barrer practices in the areas of complex commercial and tort litigation and ethics and professional responsibility. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in the state and federal courts and was elected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was appointed to the Fifth District Grievance Committee, is his law firm's Chief Ethics Officer and also serves as the Continuing Legal Education Coordinator and liaison with the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board. Mr. Barrer is a recipient of the 2006 Burton Award (presented on June 12, 2006 at the Library of Congress) for excellence in legal writing for his article “Unintended Consequences: Avoiding the Inadvertent Disclosure of Documents,” published in the November/December 2005 edition of the New York State Bar Journal. He is a frequent speaker on various topics.
