Professional Experience Rob Siegel, resident in the firm's Hartford office, is a partner in the Corporate and Business Law Department, and is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He is also a member of the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions, Distressed Assets, and Tax Groups. Rob has considerable experience in the sale and acquisition of privately held businesses and in structuring the equity/debt ownership of privately held middle-market businesses, including distressed asset acquisitions and dispositions. Rob has drafted many limited-liability company and partnership agreements for a wide range of businesses and projects, particularly real estate joint ventures and syndications. While his practice emphasizes the special issues of privately held companies, Rob has also represented several public companies in asset acquisitions and dispositions. Rob also advises corporations and partnerships on federal income tax matters.
