| Biography | Robert H. Benacchio is a senior litigation associate in the Labor Relations and Employment Department defending Employment Practice Liability and Directors & Officers claims through insurance coverage. He has extensive experience litigating employment discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and other employment-related cases before federal and state courts and administrative proceedings before the EEOC and other federal, state, and local fair employment practice agencies. He provides clients with day-to-day management counseling on a wide range of employment issues, including employee policies, contracts, discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, complaints, investigations, benefits, company reorganizations, executive compensation, and preservation and production of electronic documents and information. Mr. Benacchio received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University, and his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, he served as the Articles Editor for Seton Hall's Legislative Journal. Upon graduating law school, he clerked for the Honorable Justice Peter G. Verniero of the New Jersey Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, and is a member of the American Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Benacchio is resident in the New Jersey office. |
