Mr. Trohn is Of Counsel to GrayRobinson and has been a trial lawyer for over 50 years. Over the course of his career he has tried complex cases in such diverse areas as eminent domain, patent and trade mark, insurance contracts, personal injury, white collar crime, civil rights and major construction cases, most notably the Polk County Courthouse construction and sick building case. Mr. Trohn does trials and appeals. Recently, he has tried probate and guardianship cases.
Mr. Trohn is board certified in civil trial law by The Florida Bar. He is a fellow for the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Trohn was born in Connecticut, and reared in Lakeland, Florida where he graduated from high school. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, graduated from law school there in 1954 and began practice in Lakeland in 1957 after service in the United States Army.
