Bob Brennen aggressively represents businesses, universities, and individuals in disputes over patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and other intellectual property, contracts, and real estate. His clients have included title insurance underwriters, real estate developers, on-line brokerages, consultants, software designers, private correctional institutions, financial institutions, manufacturers, distributors, importers, entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers and recording companies. The one characteristic that his clients have in common is that they all want their business disputes resolved as quickly and cost-effectively as possible by an aggressive and responsive lawyer who understands their business goals. Bob has represented clients in both arbitration and mediation. He has 100 hours of training as a mediator and has served as a Court-appointed mediator on numerous occasions. Bob led the committee that drafted the Local Rules for patent litigation adopted by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland effective July 1, 2011. Bob was honored during the Court's Seventh Biennial Bench-Bar Conference on October 21, 2011 by Chief Judge Deborah K.
