Representative Matters

  • Represented a steel erection subcontractor in a dispute with a general contractor over construction of five national retail chain stores throughout the Midwest
  • Defended an excavator in a two-week jury trial involving a foundation cave-in at a construction site
  • Represented a construction management firm in obtaining the dismissal of a wrongful death lawsuit filed as a result of the electrocution death of a subcontractor's employee on a large commercial building project
  • Represented an engineering firm in wrongful death litigation concerning design of a segmental retaining wall in a commercial building project
  • Represented an international cement manufacturer in a jury trial for a bond claim against the asphalt manufacturer parent companies for unpaid aggregate which was incorporated into public construction project
  • Defended a roofing company before OSHA in a fall protection case where it was alleged that the company failed to provide or require the use of fall protection
