Representative Matters

• Represented an OEM automotive manufacturer to secure environmental permits to install spray painting and press equipment
• Represented a Fortune 50 domestic automobile manufacturer against claims that the plaintiff developed mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos
• Represented the global leader in vehicle emission testing equipment and testing services in contract negotiations with state governments, licensing agreements, and litigation
• Serve as Ohio counsel defending two large domestic automakers in asbestos exposure cases
• Served as counsel to a national automobile manufacturer in subdivision and zoning issues on an approximately 22-acre parcel for the development of multiple dealerships
• Provide representation on state government affairs matters for a global automotive company
• Represented a Fortune 50 domestic automobile manufacturer in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases, as well as NLRB proceedings, appeals, and labor arbitrations
• Serve as General Counsel for an automotive association and successfully represented the standardizing body for the tire, rim, valve and allied parts industry in products liability litigation involving tire and rim issues
• Prevailed in the New Jersey Supreme Court on behalf of a tire manufacturer on a high profile issue involving the protection of trade secrets and confidential information produced during the litigation discovery process
• Defended a tire company against a subpoena from a competitor relating to competitive and confidential information
• Represented auto manufacturers and RV component suppliers with respect to lemon law, Consumer Sales Practices Act, and breach of warranty claims
• Coordinated discovery on a national basis in product liability cases for a tire manufacturer
• Represented truck manufacturers in breach of warranty actions
• Defended a prominent foreign manufacturer against claims of negligent design and manufacture involving serious personal injury
