Representative Matters

• Represented a majority of a law firm's shareholders in litigation involving the dissolution of the firm
• Defended a board of directors in a lawsuit challenging the removal of a chief executive officer for misappropriation of corporate assets and opportunities
• Defended individual attorneys and law firms in legal malpractice claims
• Prosecuted a professional malpractice action against an engineering firm on behalf of a municipality
• Defend physicians against medical malpractice suits
• Represented real estate professionals, title companies, and appraisers in multiple lawsuits alleging professional negligence
• Defended insurance agents and professionals against claims involving the placement of, and / or the failure to place, insurance
• Represented the architect and structural steel engineers in a suit brought by the Ohio Building Authority, which nvolved the original State Office Tower in Columbus, Ohio
• Represented a new slate of directors against challenges issued by the former board of directors
• Represented an architect in a lawsuit involving a major renovation and addition to a hospital. It was alleged there were major problems with the heating, air conditioning, and plumbing
• Represented physicians and physician practices in various matters including entity formation, practice dissolution, and negotiation of employment agreements
• Prosecuted accounting malpractice action arising from negligent valuation of a company
• Defended securities brokers against claims for violation of non-solicitation agreements
• Advised professional service providers regarding the preservation of wealth
• Providing general representation for a major engineering firm, including internal documents, shareholder agreements, and acquisitions of new offices and companies
• Providing general representation for a mid-sized engineering firm, including shareholder agreements and review of client contracts.
