Ryan J. Morley is a Shareholder in the Cleveland, Ohio office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Mr. Morley represents employers before state and federal courts and in arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings involving alleged race, disability, sex, age and religious discrimination and harassment matters; wage and hour matters; prevailing wage matters and employee hiring, discipline, and termination. Mr. Morley handles labor negotiations, unfair labor practices, and grievance arbitrations. Mr. Morley conducts management and supervisory training, drafts employee handbooks and counsels employers on preventive litigation strategies. Mr. Morley's practice also includes negotiating and drafting employee agreements, separation agreements, non-competition agreements, and collective bargaining agreements.
Mr. Morley has particular knowledge of franchise law, representing franchisors and franchisees. Mr. Morley also represents both private and public employers and has significant experience in the restaurant, manufacturing, construction, and steel industries.
Mr. Morley obtained his law degree cum laude at Quinnipiac University School of Law and his undergraduate degree at Miami University. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Ohio, the U.S. District Court - District of Connecticut, U.S. District Court - Northern District of Ohio, and U.S. District Court - Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Morley was recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers-Rising Stars in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
