Samantha Sherwood Bononno is an Associate in the Philadelphia office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents management in all types of employment litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies including claims involving Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and Section 1981.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Bononno was an Associate with a Pennsylvania employment and labor boutique firm where she regularly defended clients in both litigation and administrative proceedings. During law school, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Paul F. Lutty, Jr. of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and also worked as a Claimant Representative with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Unemployment Compensation Practicum.
Ms. Bononno earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2009 where she served as Research Editor for the Pittsburgh Tax Review. Upon graduation, she was honored with induction into the Order of the Coif. She received her Bachelor degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Pennsylvania State University in 2006, graduating with distinction.
Ms. Bononno is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
