Ms. Dewein is an associate with the firm. She was born in Clinton, Iowa and is a life-long Iowan. She graduated with a BGS in Human Biology and BS in Biology from the University of Kansas in 2001 and 2003 and earned her juris doctorate degree with a Health Law Certificate from the University of Tulsa, College of Law in 2006. Ms. Dewein was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2007.
Ms. Dewein is actively practicing general law with her predominant focus on family law, probate, wills and estates, and civil litigation. In addition, Ms. Dewein has been appointed by the court as a Guardian ad Litem in numerous familial cases to further protect the interest of the children and elderly involved.
Ms. Dewein is a current member of the Iowa State Bar Association, participating with the Young Lawyer's Division, as well as Polk County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
