Sarah joined the firm in 1983 and became a partner in 1992. Sarah's practice focuses on domestic relations and juvenile court matters, but she also has extensive experience in complex business litigation. Sarah has advanced training in interest-based negotiation, and she is a qualified divorce mediator. This combination of legal expertise gives Sarah the ability to resolve the financial and personal aspects of a broad range of family matters, either through litigation or alternative non-litigation dispute resolution including principled negotiations, collaborative processes and mediation. Sarah represents individuals in divorce and dissolution of marriage, custody and parenting disputes, and legal issues of same sex partners. She also assists clients in negotiating and drafting prenuptial agreements and domestic partnership agreements. Representing clients for over twenty eight years, Sarah is an experienced practitioner in the state and federal courts, domestic relations courts and juvenile courts. Sarah served for five years as the head of the litigation practice group and continues to serve on the firm's executive and compensation committees. Sarah is active in the legal community serving in leadership roles with the Center for Principled Family Advocacy and the Ohio Women's Bar Association. Sarah enjoys ice hockey, golf and reading.
