Sarah M. Bricknell is a partner in and Associate General Counsel to Duane Morris LLP. She practices in the areas of professional and business ethics and professional liability litigation.
Ms. Bricknell is a member and former chair of the Professional Guidance Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, which advises Bar Association members on the propriety of actions proposed to be taken by bar members in professional matters or transactions, or the course to be pursued in controversies with other members of the bar or with clients. The Professional Guidance Committee also has authority to give advice concerning the interpretation, application and observance of the Rules of Professional Conduct and the Code of Judicial Conduct.
Ms. Bricknell is a member of the New Jersey Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, to which she was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Ms. Bricknell also is a member of the Center for Professional Responsibility and the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Ms. Bricknell regularly presents programs to practitioners on legal ethics issues.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California, Ms. Bricknell is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and of Franklin & Marshall College.
