Ms. Henry co-leads the firm's consumer class action defense team. She is a partner is the Business Trial Practice Group in the Los Angeles office. Ms. Henry specializes in complex business litigation and defending clients in consumer class actions. Just recently, Ms. Henry prevailed in a complex business fraud case, resulting in a jury verdict of over $300 million for the client. On the consumer class action side, Ms. Henry has successfully defeated class certification motions and prevailed on summary judgment motions. She recently argued a class action case before the First District Court of Appeal, and the Court then affirmed summary judgment in favor of the client. Ms. Henry has represented financial institutions, insurers, mortgage companies, technology companies and other businesses against claims of unfair competition law violations under Section 17200 of the Business and Professions Code, and litigation breach of contract and business torts. She has litigated specific issues relating to privacy rights, false advertising, truth in lending laws, RESPA, sovereign immunity and Insurance Code violations.
